SYLLABI
QUOTES
"I'm a professional world traveler. As a result,
after 46 years, I'm a bit jaded in travel. However, this trip was superior:
In-country travel, driver, hotel accommodations, mentors, food for body,
food for soul, & site selection."
–Ray Thrower
Local pastor from Texas
"A completely new look at the Bible & its
meaning. I have learned so much, I'm going to have to sort it out once
I return home! I highly recommend this class to any & all, & I
hope I can figure a way to return in the near future."

Local pastor in Alaska

TRAVEL TIPS
Travelers will be limited to one suitcase and
one. January's average low and high temperature in Jerusalem is 43-53,
in the south is 50-70. January is part of their cooler rainy season; rain
gear and waterproof shoes may be needed, especially north. But do not be
surprised if it is warm and sunny. When you register you will get detailed
information on what to pack. We recommend strongly going to our web site!
WEATHER
MEDICAL/ HEALTH
Participants need to be in good health to handle
significant walking and some hiking. Consider a gamma globulin shot as
a precaution, but no shots are required to travel to Israel. The water
in Israel is safe to drink, but its high mineral content might irritate
your system. Bottled water is readily available. Washed produce is safe.
Pack all medicines in your carry-on. BERT'S
TRAVEL TIPS
PASSPORT
All U.S. citizens need a valid passport to enter
Israel. Local county courthouses, many state and probate courts, and some
post offices accept passport applications. You may contact the Department
of State Office of Passport Services for the most convenient location to
apply; call 1-900-225-5674 for specifics. It takes time for the passport
to be issued, so apply soon. When in Israel, you should keep your passport
with you at all times. PASSPORT
